Harmonized Moveable Chord Shapes - Part 2

HARMONIZED SCALES IN POSITION:

In the first video we covered playing harmonized scales along the neck. In this video we will again be covering harmonized major scales, however this time we will study the harmonized scales played within a 5 - 6 fret range.

Some of the chords might be quite difficult to finger, so take your time with the shapes.

Practice any difficult chord voicings away from the harmony workout. But, replace difficult chords with chords that are more manageable so you can continue working on the harmony aspect of this practice routine.

Practice slowly and perfectly with a metronome to gain more control over the shapes.

The chord types included in this study are:

  • Major Triad & Major Seventh
  • Minor Triad & Minor Seventh
  • Diminished Triad & Minor Seven Flat-Five
  • Dominant Seventh
